Chicago House's annual fundraiser, Champagne Wrapture, returned to the Windy City the evening of Aug. 3. The event was held at 600 N. Fairbanks Court on the rooftop deck and featured a silent auction, free-flowing champagne, and performances from Miss Toto and The Mitchell Movement Collective.
Among the items presented in the auction were jewelry from Bryn Mawr Jewelry; a full spa session at Luxury Med Spa; a wine-tasting from Wines for Humanity; a candle-making class at Edgewater Candles; an assortment of terrariums from Plant Zaddy; an ice cream traveler from Jenny's Ice Cream; and handmade cutting-boards from Rainbow Rivers Acres.
According to the organization's website, "Chicago House aims to play a critical role in eliminating new infections (of HIV) and getting to zero infections by 2030. Chicago House empowers people living with or vulnerable to HIV to lead healthy and dignified lives through housing and compassionate, client-centered support services."
