Bill Greaves, Mayor Daley’s new liaison to the GLBT community, was officially welcomed by former liaisons Mary Morten and Rep. Larry McKeon during a reception with members of the Commission on Human Relations Advisory Council on Gay and Lesbian Issues Monday.
Morten left the post early last year to become the director of the Chicago Department of Health Office of Violence Prevention. McKeon stepped down several years ago to run for elective office, and he was sworn in for his third term as a state representative earlier this month in Springfield.
