Gay cops are being harassed by colleagues at London’s West End Central Station, the London Evening Standard reported Jan. 10.
Scotland Yard’s Directorate of Professional Standards launched an investigation after eight gay officers received hate mail and some received bottles of gasoline at their home addresses along with notes urging them to torch themselves.
One officer had the word “faggot” scratched into his car paint inside a secure police compound, and anti-gay epithets have been scrawled on lockers.
The police station is near London’s heavily gay Soho district.
