Joseph Bean, the Executive Director of the Leather Archives & Museum in Chicago, is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and interviewed. He is also one of the world’s leading experts on S&M, and so my Hot Pick this week is Flogging by Joseph W. Bean (Greenery Press Paperback $11.95). The book tells you everything you need to know about the Art of Flogging, and it is an Art. As a vanilla queen, but darkly curious, I found the book fascinating. This is not a book for gay men only, as Bean advises all genders.
