The Brothers of New Essex: Afro Erotic Adventures by Belasco (Cleis Press: Trade paperback $24.95) is my hot pick this week. Belasco is an artist who depicts Black men in sexual situations with Black men. His first work appeared in Chicago’s late-lamented Thing magazine in 1991. Leathermen everywhere will wish they could just crawl onto the pages of this comic book and role around in the dirt. Oh my!
