Affinity Community Services has received the 2001 Audre Lorde Legacy Award from the Union Institute.
The award is given “to organizations and individuals who are engaged in scholarly and activist collaborations that focus on the well-being of women and girls,” according to the Institute.
The award was given at the Sixth Annual Audre Lorde Celebration, May 24 in Washington, D.C.
