1. Black Passions (www.mrcain.com/blackpassions.html) mixes two provocative elements—Black men and erotica—into one very potent stew! Whether you’re into B&D or something even more extreme, this site serves you (and you can take that however you want). There are book selections (e.g., Hannibal Rex) and short stories—with the best thing being that you can download these items after you pay for them.

2. Recently, my friend Lori and I went to Pistachios, a unique craft store in the Near North area of Chicago. We found the most delectable items (for men and women) —and are sure you’ll love them too. Check out the works of the artists the store represents on www.pistachiosonline.com and then go one of the stores (1 East Delaware or 55 East Grand) — but leave the triple-layer Michael Schoop ring alone: it’s mine!

3. Men are definitely my cup of tea, but I couldn’t help but be entranced by the postcards and photographs featured in Isle of Lesbos: Vintage Images (www.sappho.com/vintage/), a compendium of items featuring classic depictions of lesbians in action. Although the items are not for sale, it is interesting to see scenes of turn-of-the- (20th-) century women in love with each other.
