Special Site of the Week

I have witnessed the horrifying consequences of madmens’ actions. I have experienced fear, vulnerability, and confusion…and continue to do so. I have seen destruction brought about by hate…and now I hate. I have prayed a lot more than I used to. I have awakened in the middle of the night, grieving. I have…sadly and apologetically…misdirected my anger at a whole for the actions of a few. I am disheartened at the increasing number of relatives who refer to their loved ones in the past tense instead of the present. I have never experienced helplessness like this. I am lifted by the solidarity that is taking place. I am overjoyed to observe the indomitability of the American spirit. I see true heroes.
