GLBT community members met publicly Sept. 18 to endorse the re-election bid of Republican State Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka. Community leaders met with Topinka at LaSalle Bank to discuss her candidacy and issues impacting the community. Topinka has already been endorsed by Equality Illinois and the downstate Prairie Flame gay newspaper.
