Juanita Crespo, longtime staff member of Lesbian Community Cancer Project, was fired from the agency at the end of December.
LCCP Executive Director Jessica Halem said she could not comment on the personnel decision, that it was a “private matter.”
Crespo had been with LCCP for several years, and through several top-level staff and board changes. She was a program coordinator, and was known especially for outreach to the Latina community. She could not be reached for comment.
