Team Chicago and the Windy City Cycling Club are cohosting THE LAST HURRAH Saturday, Jan. 4, 4-7 p.m. in Sidetrack’s Glass Bar, 3349 N. Halsted.
It’s the first party of the year and the last party of Gay Games VI. Join the Windy City Cycling Club, Team Destiny (Softball), Steamworks Volleyball Team, Chicago Corinthians (Sailing), Frontrunners Frontwalkers Chicago, and Chicago Smelts (Swimming) to help us celebrate the 150 Chicago Gay Games athletes participation in this extraordinary event.
The highlight of the evening will be the Northern Hemisphere Premiere of the Official Commemorative Video, featured on more than a dozen monitors at 5 p.m. The video includes highlights from nearly every sport and features Justice Kirbey’s moving Opening Ceremonies speech (he is Australia’s first openly gay Supreme Court justice).
Also featured will be music from the Opening Ceremonies, a cash bar, Australian vegamite, and Team Chicago and Gay Games VII Vancouver 2006 merchandise.
