Lesbian Community Cancer Project’s Coming Out Against Cancer Gala is Saturday, Jan. 18 at the South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 South Shore Dr.; $100 Pre-Reception and Gala; $50 Gala only in advance, $55 Gala only at the door. The 12th annual event will bring together nearly 2,000 women and men to enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres buffet, and a night of dancing to tunes spun by Chicago’s hottest DJs. Keeping with the event’s ‘Dancing the Dozens’ theme, guests may learn swing, salsa, ballroom or stepping during the professionally led dance lessons.
