Gay actor Wilson Cruz, best known for his roll on TV’s My So-Called Life, is coming to Chicago to star in Tick, Tick … Boom! The play is by the late Jonathan Larson, best known for Rent, which Cruz also starred in as Angel in the LA production. Tick is a rock musical with three actors playing 10 characters. Also starring is Christian Campbell (who played gay for Trick) and Nicole Snelson. Broadway in Chicago is bringing the production to the Shubert Theatre May 13-25.
