The annual Hearts Foundation Fireball week of parties and benefits kicked off last Friday with a special gala at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Those honored included U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky and longtime partners and philanthropists Michael Bauer and Roger Simon. Pics and calendar listings inside this issue of Windy City Times. Thousands of people from around the U.S. are expected to be in town for the celebrations, which result in more than $150,000 donated to area GLBT and AIDS charities.
