On Saturday, April 12 at 8 p.m., the Lakeside Pride Concert Band presents ‘Faces of America’ at Northside College Preparatory School, 5501 N. Kedzie. The performance will feature ‘A Movement for Rosa,’ a tone poem honoring civil-rights heroine Rosa Parks by Chicago native Mark Camphouse. Admission is by a suggested donation of $10, or $7 for students and seniors.
SHOUT!, the Lakeside Pride Jazz Ensemble, returns to Circuit nightclub, 3641 N. Halsted, for ‘Swing into Spring,’ Sunday, May 18. Doors open at 4 p.m. The $7 suggested donation benefits Lakeside Pride.
