The First School of the Art Institute of Chicago Queer Film and Video Festival presents eight diverse film and video works made by queer film and video makers from across the world.

The festival, curated and coordinated by students, begins Thursday, April 23 and runs thru May 2. Additional programs will take place at the U. of Chicago May 8, and the Gerber/Hart Library, 1127 W. Granville, May 10.

The Lesbian Gay Bi Transgendered Student Union at the School presents the fest with support from the Student Government. Admission is free, except at the Gerber/Hart Library screening.

Among the films is the U.S. premiere of Let’s Love Hong Kong, and the Chicago premiere of James Wentzy’s Fight Back, Fight AIDS: 15 Years of ACT UP.
