Back by popular demand, the Windy City Cycling Club is again producing Bike Academy, an afternoon of workshops on everything you need to know about riding and maintaining a bicycle.
Academy presenter Jefferson McCarley is a long time industry expert with experience as a bike shop owner, bike mechanic, bicycling activist, and cycling tour guide. He is a member of the XXX Racing Athletico Team and won a silver medal for Chicago in the Gay Games last fall.
This one day clinic is broken down into two workshops. Advance registration is required at www.signmeupsports.com. The cost is $5. Check in is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 31 at the Waveland Clock Tower, north of Addison on the lake front bike path.
