East Lakeview residents won’t have to get in their cars to visit a farmer’s market this summer.
The Nettelhorst French Market has opened at The Nettelhorst School, 3252 N. Broadway (between Aldine and Melrose) in the heart of Lakeview.
Run by Bensidoun Group USA, the Nettelhorst market will be the center of a sort of ‘Saturday town square.’ Stalls, featuring farm fresh produce, flowers, gourmet food and crafts, will line the sidewalk outside the school fence, while a bevy of fun activities will be going on in the courtyard, playground and inside the school.
The market will run every Saturday through Oct. 27, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
