Tjam Corporation has purchased the old ‘Glenway Inn’ building at 1401 W. Devon.
Jody Andres, owner of The Room (and formerly owner of Tomboy), put together Tjam Corporation which includes herself, her partner Amy Matheny (co-host of Windy City Radio), Terrance Flannery and renowned pianist Michael Feinstein to purchase the building. The restaurant seats 150 people, and has 21 gated-parking spots.
The glamorous space opened last week as Speakeasy, with lots of opening-night guests and a full list for Dining Out for Life June 5.
Feinstein is expected to attend special events at the location, and play there from time to time.
