THEY PLAYED. THEY ATE PIZZA. THEY PLAYED SOME MORE. About 40 families from around the Chicago area gathered at Leona’s on Augusta Blvd. for Rainow Families’ Membership Kick-off Party. The organization of gay and lesbian parents and their kids, as well as those planning for parenthood, sponsors regular social and educational events in the city and suburbs. Openly gay family portraits photographer Mark Brown donated a family portrait, and was on hand to document the festivities.
