A Grief & The Holidays workshop will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, 1:30-3 p.m. at Howard Brown Health Center, 4025 North Sheridan. Holidays are often difficult for anyone who has experienced the death of someone they love. Rather than being times of togetherness, sharing and thanksgiving, holidays can bring feelings of sadness, loss and emptiness. Often those in the LGBT community feel particularly isolated at such times. This program is sponsored by Rainbow Hospice Bereavement Center, and it is offered free of charge.
