Stating that the Medicare reform bill is flawed, U.S. Senate candidate and former President of the Chicago Public Schools Gery Chico called on Congress to draft legislation that better protects American seniors and increases transparency in prescription drug pricing.
‘The bill President Bush signed with a significant gap in coverage, private-sector pilot programs, and a two-year delayed enactment date, does too little, too late,’ Chico said.
