As part of Mayor Richard M. Daley’s Chicago Winter Delights 2004 and South Shore Cultural Center’s Black History Month events, JuJu Sauce Productions presents an intimate tribute to one of the preeminent figures of the Harlem Renaissance and one of the greatest writers of all time, Langston Hughes. Featuring nationally recognized tenor, Kenneth Gayle; Chicago’s acclaimed dance ensemble, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater; and dramatic expression from Blacks in Unity a volunteer ministry from Unity in Chicago Church. Sanford Gaylord is also featured.
