Reuters reports from Madrid that a Spanish judge has allowed the female partner of a mother of twins to adopt her children, making a same-sex couple legal parents for the first time in Spain, the Spanish Federation for Lesbians, Gays, Transsexuals and Bisexuals said. The one-year-old girls had been conceived by artificial insemination.
