Audrey Vlies, 54, passed away the weekend of Feb. 28 in her home of unknown causes. She had worked at Weiss and St. Francis Hospitals and had helped deliver Windy City Times in the Belmont and Halsted neighborhoods for several years. She is survived by brothers Tom, Greg and John Stanonis, sisters Joanne Frane and Christine Brisbois, mother Jean Stanonis, and daughter Shannon Woods. She is also survived by her many friends, including her close friend Kate.
