Marshall Field’s Flea Market is July 16-18, during store hours at the State Street Store, 9th Floor. There will be quite a wide variety of items from around the world. LEFT: No proper English garden is complete without these Garden Gnomes. Many designs and each colorfully and uniquely painted, these delightful elves bring luck, good fortune and happiness. RIGHT: Cornish Kitchenware—T.G. Green Blue and White Stripe: The original is china and was made in the 1920s through the early ’40s. Production stopped during World War II. It started again around 1946 and other companies quickly began to copy this classic pattern. ‘Chefware’ refers to the copies produced in the ’50s.
