Marshall Field’s Glamorama goers will be amazed by the power and grace of the goddess as Marshall Field’s raises fashion and entertainment to its highest level in 2004. This year’s Glamorama will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, at the Chicago Theatre. Marshall Field’s high-energy annual fundraising event—featuring designer fashion, world-class entertainment, celebrity attendees and elaborate postparties—raises money to support The Art Institute of Chicago.

For the first time in Glamorama history, 30 famous designers have created exclusive, one-of-a-kind red gowns for Marshall Field’s that will be featured in Glamorama’s finale. Participating Red Gown finale designers include Zac Posen, Stella McCartney, Jean Paul Gaultier and Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche. Patricia Field, renowned costume designer famous for her trendsetting fashion stylings on HBO’s ‘Sex and the City,’ will style the Red Gown finale. After the show, the exclusive gowns will be auctioned for charity via Yahoo! as well as at the Chicago postparty, benefiting The Art Institute of Chicago.

With supreme styles on heavenly models, Glamorama demands an equally almighty and powerful lineup to make spirits soar high. Musical sensations Patti LaBelle, The Commodores and Def Jam poet Karen Gibson Roc will be featured performers at this year’s show. Ford Supermodel Jerry Hall, the face of this year’s Glamorama marketing collateral, will make a special appearance, and Jennifer Lopez will make an exclusive personal video appearance. Additional performances and appearances to be announced.

This year’s featured designers include: Matthew Williamson, Sonia Rykiel, JLo Lingerie, DSquared2, Calvin Klein, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, John Malkovich Uncle Kimono and Donna Karan.
