U.S. Senate candidate Alan Keyes appeared before the regular City Club of Chicago luncheon this month and blasted gays.
365Gay.com reports that he called gays ‘sinners’ and attacked gay marriage and abortion.
Chicago gay activist Michael Bauer was among those asking questions of the Republican running for Illinois senate against popular Democrat Barack Obama, who is far ahead in the polls. Keyes told Bauer there is ‘no contradiction between defending the institution of marriage and understanding that even when you look at somebody and you know that they’re in sin, you can still remember that they are children of God.’
