Barely a month after its cancellation of a performance by reggae/regga star Beenie Man due to homophobic lyrics, Chicago’s House of Blues nightclub has booked another Jamaican singer, ‘Capleton,’ who calls for ‘burning,’ ‘shooting’ and otherwise doing violence against lesbians and gays. Capleton is set for a show Sept. 23. Beenie Man, coming off recent ousters from worldwide tours and the MTV Video Music Awards, reportedly backed off his ‘apology’ to gays at a beer company sponsored event in Jamaica.
