Gay Games VII hosted two Chicago-area events in recent weeks. The first was a volunteer appreciation party, left, with GG volunteer committee chair Amelia Lopez and the owner of Angel’s restaurant, Pedro, who donated the food. Middle and right are from a benefit at Sawbridge Studios, 153 W. Ohio on World AIDS Day. A portion of the proceeds will go to HIV/AIDS scholarships. The NAMES Project quilt panel for the Federation of Gay Games was also displayed. It includes the name of GG founder Dr. Tom Waddell.
