Art and artists are all the rage on stage just now, with recent productions of Inventing Van Gogh, References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot, Permanent Collection, The Upper Room, Mariela in the Desert and the eponymous Art. There already has been one production of Vincent in Brixton at the Apple Tree Theatre in Highland Park, and now there is another (pictured), staged by The Journeymen at the Storefront Theater (66 E. Randolph) through April 24. In it, the young, still-two eared Van Gogh goes to London to learn the art biz, falls in love with his middle-aged landlady and discovers his muse. (312) 742-8497; $15.
