About 1,500 women and men turned out for the annual Ultimate Women’s Power Lunch benefit for the campaign of U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky, an Illinois Democrat with a long record of support of women’s and GLBT issues. Sen. Barack Obama also addressed the crowd, as did Jane Fonda, the event’s special guest.
