Encore Theatre presents Ellen Greene, the original Audrey from Little Shop of Horrors, in Torch, a benefit performance for The Children’s Place Association, a Chicago-based safe house for children afflicted with HIV/AIDS.
The event is Saturday, May 28, at 7 p.m. at The Vernon Hills High School Theater, 145 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. Dinner with Ellen Green and silent auction to follow at Portofino Italian Bistro, 102 Hawthorn Parkway, Vernon Hills.
