From film to stage, Footloose made the transition from Hollywood movie to London and Broadway musical. London loved it, Broadway didn’t. Check it out for yourself in the show’s regional debut at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire. You always get a bang for your buck at the Marriott Theatre, and this show’s no exception: the bright young cast—young, unassuming and eager—works up a sweat for you eight times a week in the tale of irrepressible teenagers in a repressive small town. Guess who wins at the end of the night? Footloose runs through Nov. 27. (847) 634-0200; $42.
