The Lapin Agile is a bar on the backside of Montmartre, Paris, where Picasso hung out. In this highly original comedy, comedian and playwright Steve Martin imagines that Einstein stopped by, too, and met Picasso one improbable night, circa 1900, launching one towards cubism and the other towards relativity. Martin even manages to squeeze Elvis Presley into the play. The Noble Fool, champion of comedy, has made a home for itself at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, which offers a variety of pleasures in addition to the play. Picasso at the Lapin Agile continues through Nov. 5. (630) 584-6342; $27-$37.
