A Katrina survivor put together a fundraising event at Stargaze Sept. 29 to benefit lesbian survivors of Katrina.
National recording artist Nedra Johnson came from New York to provide music for the event along with Windy City Gay Idol winner, Kerri Grant. Prizes were raffled off in addition to the concert.
One hundred percent of the proceeds are going to women survivors in the Gulf area.
