Queer as Folk star Peter Paige will be in attendance at the screening of his directorial debut film Say Uncle at Reeling 2005: The 24th Chicago Lesbian and Gay International Film Festival on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at Landmark’s Century Centre Cinema, 2828 N. Clark St.
Say Uncle will be followed by an after-party at X/O, 3441 N. Halsted St. At the party, the festival will auction off a one-of-a-kind pinball machine that Michael, Brian, Emmett and the guys played on Showtime’s recently concluded series Queer as Folk. The pinball machine, which was part of the set of Woody’s, was shipped in from the set in Toronto, where the series had been filmed.
The pinball machine was donated to Reeling by Showtime, Presenting Sponsor (along with Comcast) of Reeling 2005: The 24th Chicago Lesbian and Gay International Film Festival, which presents 67 screenings over 11 days, Nov. 3-13.
