On Jan. 22, the Membership, Royalty Team, Officers, and Board of Directors of the Illinois Gay Rodeo Assocation (ILGRA) / Windy City Rodeo will hold its 2005 Rodeo Awards and charity check presentation ceremony. The event will be held in the upstairs party room of Tuscany on Clark, 3700 N. Clark, 6 p.m.
Close to $16,000 will be distributed among our four charity partners: Howard Brown Health Center, Vital Bridges, DirectAID and Cowboy Dreams. In addition, organizational awards will be handed out.
ILGRA’s rodeo, The Windy City Rodeo, has become one of the largest events of the summer. Last year, attendance at the two-day event topped 2,000 people. This year the rodeo will be held Aug. 25-27 at Six Guns Ranch and Arena in Crete, Ill.
