Howard Brown Health Center kicked off its ‘Tie One On and Dream with Us’ gala at an event at the Palmer House, 17 E. Monroe, Feb. 16. This event was first in a series of celebrations that will culminate in their gala later this year. The event drew a crowd of almost 300 who bought raffle tickets for designer ties and scarves that were donated by Saks Fifth Avenue, Ferragamo, Burberry, Brioni, and Ralph Lauren, with all proceeds benefiting the center. Revelers enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dancing and other entertainment.
