Lambda Legal—a national organization that works through litigation, public education and policy work to achieve civil rights for LGBT people and those with HIV or AIDS—is seeking a regional director of its Midwest office, which is based in Chicago.
The Midwest Regional Director is the chief regional representative of Lambda Legal, serving a role that encompasses spokesperson, ambassador, development officer and relationship builder, all to increase resources for the organization. Lambda Legal’s Midwest region consists of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Applicants must have a strong background in local community leadership; fundraising and management experience; a demonstrated commitment to the civil rights of LGBT people as well as HIV-positive individuals.
The salary is commensurate with experience within the guidelines of the Lambda Legal scale.
