The Leigh Gallery, located at 3306 N. Halsted, is exhibiting several works of soap actor-turned-painter Thom Bierdz, who recently displayed his talents with a live performance at the Gay Games-sponsored The Night of 100 Champions. ‘I saw him at [the event],’ gallery owner Jean Leigh said. ‘I was really excited to get him because his work is really appealing.’
Leigh plans on having a formal reception of Bierdz’s paintings sometime after the Games.
