‘The 2006 Gay Games in Chicago,’ an exhibit that will include items related to this summer’s local sports extravaganza, will be shown in the Special Collections and Preservations Division at Harold Washington Library, 400 S. State, starting July 5 and running through August, according to Elizabeth Holland, the facility’s exhibit coordinator. Items will include photos from 1980s gay sports leagues from the Windy City Times archives.
In a related matter, a video theater presentation and accompanying discussion will take place at the library on June 15 at 5:30 p.m. Among the scheduled participants is Gay Games co vice-chair (and Windy City Times executive editor and publisher) Tracy Baim.
