On June 7, Kevin Logan—the Indiana teen banned from his high-school prom because he wore a dress—graduated from Gary West Side High. He remained defiant until the end, donning a dress and heels underneath his gown.
On May 19, Logan was turned away from his prom. He had worn women’s clothes to school all year.
Logan and his family have filed a complaint with the Indiana Civil Liberties Union, 365Gay.com reported. The school board contends that Logan was asked to leave the event because of its dress code, not his sexual orientation.
