The Chicago-based Gay Liberation Network (GLN) has announced that on June 27 it will protest the national convention of Exodus International (EI), which calls itself as ‘the largest information and referral ministry in the world addressing homosexual issues.’
The protest will take place at the convention’s opening session, which is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Philippe Performing Arts Center of Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind. The network will be organizing transportation from Chicago.
In other GLN-related news, the scheduled June 23 speaking engagement by gay Anglican activist Davis Mac-Iyalla of Nigeria (which was sponored by the group) has been cancelled because of visa problems. GLN hopes to host a public meeting with Mac-Iyalla some time in the near future.
