Chicago organizers of the 2006 Gay Games announced that award-winning actress Megan Mullally (TV’s Will & Grace) will participate in the event’s Opening Ceremony, scheduled for July 15 at Soldier Field.
Mullally joins more than 60 music, television, arts, culture and sports legends from around the world who will perform in the 2006 Gay Games Opening and Closing ceremonies. ‘The part of the Gay Games that appeals to me the most is the idea that everyone is equally welcome to participate, no matter your ability or sexual orientation,’ she said in a statement.
This September, Mullally will host her own syndicated daytime talk show on NBC, The Megan Mullally Show.
