The Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago (LAGBAC) has partnered with the Howard Brown Health Center, the Center on Halsted and the Chicago Public Library to present a series of seminars tailored specifically to the LGBT community. The forums will be held at Howard Brown, 4025 N. Sheridan, and the John Merlo branch of the Chicago Public Library, 644 W. Belmont, on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. through Sept. 27.

The schedule is as follows:

Aug. 2: Adoption and Custody, presented by Kath Buchanan, M.A., J.D.; at Howard Brown

Aug. 23: Residential Real Estate, presented by Irene Reed, Esq.; at Merlo

Sept. 13: Securing and Protecting LGBT Relationships, presented by Richard A. Wilson, Esq.; at Merlo

Sept. 27: Estate Planning and Advance Directives, presented by David Wells, Esq., and Jeremy H. Gottschalk, Esq., Bell, Boyd and Lloyd, LLC; at Howard Brown
