The AIDS Legal Council of Chicago (ALCC) has picked up stakes and moved. The new mailing address of the office is: 180 N. Michigan, Suite 2110, Chicago, IL 60601-7454. (It was previously located at 188 W. Randolph.)
Office hours will remain Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and phone consultations will continue to be offered at 312-427-8990.
In related news, the organization is seeking nominations for the 13th Annual Advocates of the Year Awards that will be held in March, 2007. The four award categories are Outstanding Health Care Provider, Outstanding Community Advocate, Outstanding Client Advocate and Outstanding Philanthropist. Nomination letters (no longer than two pages) have to be sent by 5 p.m. on Sept. 15.
