X/O Chicago, located at 3441 N. Halsted, has been awarded Wine Spectator Magazine’s prestigious Award of Excellence for its boutique wine list that spotlights wines from small producers throughout the world.
Fewer than 20 restaurants in Illinois received this recognition, and X/O is excited to have been selected to join this group. According to a release, the award also recognizes X/O’s commitment to food and wine pairings as well as wine service.
The award is given ‘for lists that offer a well-chosen selection of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style,’ WineSpectator.com noted. Typically, these lists offer at least 100 selections.
