The Record Store Cats are animations done by regular b3ta.com contributor hnldesign. They’ve achieved viral status popping into inboxes around the world. This means good things for hnldesign who is now being approached with offers to do animation for advertising. Let’s just hope that what he creates is considerably less disturbing than that other b3ta contributor rathergood.com. You might remember his deliciously disturbing Quizno ads from a few years back featuring the ‘Spongmonkeys.’
fuck yourself
www.pornotube.com
I’ve held off on reporting this site to see if I heard any reports of spyware or other nefarious activity associated with it. I mean it does seem too good to be true: porn for free? PornoTube host those kinds of videos that YouTube won’t and in true Web 2.0 fashion it also allows tagging. Reading those tags is an education unto itself. The site seems to function as an advertising venue for other porn sites. The clips are short and many of them link back to other sites where you can view the video. God knows what spam lists you get on when you register, so use that Hotmail account you never check when you sign up.
to catch a thief

I always wondered how those inmates that manage to meet someone and get married while behind bars managed to pull that feat off. Well it’s sites like this that make romance bloom. DOCSPenPals.com offers up profiles of inmates that are seeking penpals, most of whom are looking for, ironically enough, an honest woman. It’s an interesting little slice of life. Most of the prisoners don’t tell you what they’re in for. In some cases they don’t have to; when you’re on Death Row, the answer to that little query is a bit obvious.
A kiss is just a kiss
www.turtlekiss.com
How to describe this… so there’s this chick who kisses turtles, see, and she throws paint on a canvas and has the turtle crawl through it to paint, see, and she videos her and the turtle kissing and the turtle painting, see, and puts the videos up on YouTube, see, and then she sells the paintings on eBay, see.
And do people buy this crap? Of course, it’s eBay. People will buy a used hot dog wrapper from there if you market it right.
