The Wisconsin-based organization known as Attorneys Against the Ban (AATB) has announced its launch. The group was formed to educate and mobilize attorneys throughout Wisconsin against the proposed constitutional amendment banning civil unions and gay marriage.
In just its first week, the group has garnered the support of more than 100 lawyers who have pledged their opposition to the ban and who are supporting AATB’s efforts. AATB organizers believe that hundreds more will join their ranks in the coming weeks.
